Welcome to Kirkland Cooperative Preschool (KCP). At KCP we feel that education is a family process. Children and their parents both benefit from our cooperative learning environment.

Through creative play our children learn, becoming chefs, dancers, scientists, creative writers, woodworkers, musicians, paleontologists and artists as they combine activity and discovery with imagination.

Classes for preschoolers and their parents... Against a backdrop of activity and toys, Kirkland Cooperative Preschool offers three age appropriate classes for preschool children. Parents learn side by side with their children through involvement in their children's education. Monthly parent education meetings cover topics such as self-esteem, sibling relations, learning development, or boundaries and allow parents to share concerns and ideas.

How to use this site

If you are trying to learn about preschools: Read and select from the menu items on the left side of your screen. From there you can learn about the school, activities, programs, teachers, upcoming events and registration information. You will find everything from address and phone numbers to details about class curriculum. If you have additional questions or need additional information, please send your request to the KCP Registrar.

If you are a KCP enrolled parent: Enter your user name and pin in the login area above the left side menu. Click the "go" button or press "enter". This will log you onto the parent's site which includes additional information for you, your children and your class. If you have lost, forgotten or need your user name or pin, please send a request to the KCP Webmaster.

Trouble Logging On? The KCP website was built and tested for compatibility with Microsoft Internet Explorer. We have verified that whether you are using a MAC or a PC/Laptop running a Microsoft Windows OS, you should be fine. We have also verified that in at least one case, attempting to log on to the site using a Netscape browser doesn't work. If you are currently using Netscape, you don't have to give it up to use the site, but you will have to also have a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) running.
